using concrete details about a specific place (real or imagined). Then write a poem incorporating or based on one or more of the answers. I used the world I’ve built in my novel in progress, and used the basis of the answers to create my poem.

A sunny day
A peaceful afternoon on the grass
Let the churches worry about the world
Respect for superstition will keep you safe
Walk a dog, look out for magpies, avoid black cats
Oh to be lucky
Not one of those unlucky people
Carry crystals
And good luck to you!
You can be rich and happy
Your fate is decided
By those in white robes
Just do as you’re told
Avoid the unknown
Respect the magpies
Read your horoscope
Not everyone can be lucky
Avoid black cats
There are lucky and unlucky
Unlucky people
That’s the other way
Bad luck
Be glad you got two magpies
